The name of SPURVEY does not exist in any British Isle records, nor in the IGI
transcribed records of the Latter Day Saints (Mormon) Church. Although the name SPURVEY
exists today, it is believed that the original family name was SPURWAY or SPURRIER as
SPURWAY & SPURRIER records previous to the 1800s, can be found in the Church of England records
