SHOT HIM ON SIGHT. The Dead Man Previously Made a Threat to Shoot His Slayer.
Pine Bluff, Ark., July 22 -- A week ago a man named James England had a difficulty with a young boy named Duncan at Kedron, near here. Several shots were fired between them but neither was touched.
The father of the boy, Dan Duncan, when told of the affair, swore vengance and was afterward heard to say he would kill England on sight.
This morning England spied Duncan in the rear of a store and deliberately discharged a load of buckshot into his head, smashing it. Duncan died immediately. Duncan was regarded as a bad man. England gave himself up.

Special Dispatch to the Appeal-Avalanche. Camden, Ark. July 22 -- At Kedron, a small station on the Cotton Belt Railroad 54 miles above this city, this morning at 8 o'clock, William England, a justice of the peace, shot and instantly killed Dan Duncan. England ran off after the shooting and had not been captured up to the last report from Kedron.
