Clan Boyd Society, International

I just received a long letter from a Boyd cousin in Alberta.  He's done some
research into my Boyd lines, added one more generation to what I knew.  We
are hoping someone might be able to help with the questions.  The quotes
come from my cousin Jack's letter:

"Robert Boyd held title to land where John Parke Boyd (US Army commander in
1812) had spent several years exploring leads us to think they could have
been related."

Does anyone have information on John Parke Boyd's descendants/siblings?

"Robert Boyd settled in Madison, Indiana and became a farmer.  He had nine
children - 4 girls, 5 boys.  Robert Boyd acquired land (about 70 acres) just
north of the Ohio River at Madison. (From will) Also thirty four acres Sec
9, T 20, R12.  Also thirty five acres in Jefferson County, Indiana it being
the NE 1/4 of the NW quarter of Sec No.9, in TWP 4 North of Range No.9... In
total 69 acres.

Robert Boyd held title to this 80 acres just north and west of the present
Danville, Illinois, but we have no information on how he aquired the
property.  It is possible that he bought it from a brother (John Parke) or
he may have inherited it on his brother's death.  On his death (1846) Robert
willed the approx. 70 acres of land in Indiana and 80 acres in Illinois to
his three eldest sons.  They were John, Joseph and Asa K."

The members of the family listed in the will, starting with the males (and
likely the oldest first) John, Joseph, Asa K. (we believe this to be my 3rd
g.grandfather), Robert, Alexander Wilson Polly (Jones), Matilda (Sullivan),
Aremathea (Licklyter), Arnaline (Terrill)

I'm also trying to find information on my 2nd great grandfather:
