Quote from Historic Cane Ridge and Its Families.

"In a listing of those in Davidson Co., 1812, we find the following Johnson, Johnston:
John Johnston, Jr.,  John Johnston, Sr.,   Isaac JOHNSTON.  It soon became evident
that the Isaac Johnson family dropped the "t" out of their name where the John Johnston
family of the same community kept if for a while longer at least"

"This family was very active in the Cane Ridge Presbyterian Church as indicated
in the Church Records found elsewhere in this book."
I would love to know more about Mary BOYD.
Sincerely,
