to the bar before the Supreme Court of Michigan, 1878; married,

Nov 24, 1890, Annie L. STEVENS. Practiced law in Detroit,
1879-82;
became interested in commercial interests, manufacturing, real
estate
and mining, and associated for many years with the late William
H. Stevens
in his various enterprises. Chairman board of managers

Land Co., Ltd.; president Bumpus Stevens Co.; director American
Exchange
National Bank;treasurer Iron Silver Mining Co. Republican.
Presbyterian.
