2.  MARTIN2 BOYD (MARTIN1) was born Abt. 1851 in North Carolina, and died Unknown.  He married SALLIE D. BALTHROP November 12, 1870 in Warren County, North Carolina, daughter of DENNIS BALTHROP and ARY NICHOLSON.  She was born Abt. 1853 in North Carolina, and died Aft. 1892 <?>.

Note:  Have not been able to find Martin and Sallie Boyd in the NC census records after 1880.  Believe they may have died or Sallie may have remarried.  Four of their children have not been successfully traced.

3.  JOHN J.3 BOYD (MARTIN2, MARTIN1) was born May 1870 in Warren County, North Carolina.  He married ELIZA POWELL May 13, 1892 in Warrenton, Warren County, North Carolina, daughter of ROBERT POWELL and ZILPHY PEETE.  She was born January 1875 in North Carolina.
