Sue Cross versus the Pegaso...who will win?
It was dawn on the morning of October 10, 1989. After a long frustrating night of stalking the wild Pegaso in Marbella, Spain,
the trail had grown cold. Suddenly, the young American turistico Sue Cross spotted an elusive Pegaso, its motor idling,
in the shadows of a Spanish alley. Although known
for a stealthy demeanor when necessary, the clattering of its diesel engine gave away its presence that morning. This was all the
advantage
that courageous young Sue would need. She quickly pounced and within seconds was in the cab, the very throat of the beast. It was at
this moment as the
two struggled in mortal combat that this picture was taken. It seemed a terrible mismatch.. a small-statured young American woman versus 18,000 pounds
of smoking, choking chrome and steel. Who would emerge victorious? The terrifying answer would soon become all too clear...
